Community development

Our community development volunteer programs seek to empower individuals and groups of people by providing them with the skills they need to affect change in their own communities. SPF works with communities in Ghana for the upliftment of the society.

We provide volunteer opportunities where you can help in building eco-friendly homes or work with local village communities in Ghana and help in education, construction and medical projects.

Our programs are available throughout the whole year, with flexible start dates and program duration. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for minimum up-to one week to six months under these programs.

Role of Volunteer

  • Volunteers will be involved in community development activities ranging from borehole water pump construction, school building, community services etc.

    Accommodation and meals: Home base and Ghanaian cuisine three times daily

    Activities: support a developing healthcare system in an assistant capacity

    Skill/Qualification Needed

    No specific qualifications are required to volunteer in the community development project in Ghana. Volunteers should have love for the communities and ready with the team in the local communities.
