Sports Coaching Volunteer Program
The Sports program is for those volunteers who are interested in physical activity. Our Multi-sports projects focus on a mix of sports.
Football:
The level of talent existing in Ghana was highlighted by the country’s presence in the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil. Improve upon your ability and skills whilst at the same helping to improve the football skills of local youngsters from low-income communities. Your personal skills will be put to go use.
Athletics:
The most common types of athletics competitions among Ghanaians include track and field and road running.
The children you coach will be extremely keen to participate in a wide variety of sports so please feel free to let us know if you have any new ideas. Share your passion for football or athletics with Ghanaian children from deprived backgrounds.
Our aim of this project is to take children from low-income communities off the streets and into a safe place in the afternoon by providing them with football and athletics coaching and health education. All volunteers are welcome, whether you join the project during a gap year, in the summer holidays or as part of a career break
